access//violation wurde im jahr 2002 von mastermind olaf pokorny in braunschweig gegrüdet und hat nach einem zwischenstopp in karlsruhe nun im saarland ein zuhause gefunden.
musikalisch irgendwo zwischen darkwave und electronic body music (ebm) findet access//violation seinen ganz eigenen weg im reich der dunklen elektronischen musik. da jedoch keine dieser schubladen der musik wirklich gerecht wird, musste eine eigene genre-bezeichnung her: ../electronic body wave/. teils treibende, teils verspielte beats, gepaart mit filigranen und ideenreichen melodiebögen, eingebettet in ausgefallene arpeggien und synthesizerflächen – so charismatisch und mitreißend, dass man förmlich in die musik hineingezogen wird und ihr nicht wieder entkommt. den rahmen bilden sehr persönliche und (selbst-)kritische texte, die sich mit themen der eigenen wahrnehmung der welt, der menschen und ihrem leben auseinandersetzen.
trotz aller technik spürt man bei access//violation die wärme menschlicher emotionen und die ideen eines kreativen kopfes. kein 'mach-mir-'nen-song-du-trottel'-knopf manch moderner klangmaschinen ist zu so etwas auch nur ansatzweise fähig!
access//violation was founded in 2002 by its mastermind olaf pokorny in braunschweig/lower saxony/germany and has now found a new home in the south west of germany - saarland.
somewhere between darkwave and electronic body music (ebm) access//violation finds its special own way in the area of dark electronic music. because none of these genres copes with the music of access//violation a new one has been created: ../electronic body wave/. partly impulsive, partly playful beats coupled with filigree and imaginative melodies, embedded into extraordinary arpeggios and synthesizer-pads – so charismatic and thrilling that it seems you are dragged into the music, unable to escape anymore. the frame are very personal and (self-)critical lyrics, which deal with subjects of the own perception of the world, the people and their lifes.
despite of all technology you can feel the warmth of human emotions and the ideas of a creative mind in the music of access//violation. no 'make-me-a-song-you-bloody-bastard'-button of some modern soundmachines comes even close to this!
